PERSONALITYDillon is extremely arrogant and believes that the whole world owes him something. He refuses to believe that there are people out there who are actually better than he is in somethings. He has it in his head that he's the best and therefore the world must adjust to his ideals. Trying to get him to change his opinions is like trying toremove a mountain, stupid and impossible. When he is faced with the unthinkable, he becomes extremely manipulative and finds ways of convincing people to not be better than him.
Dillon would never admit it to anyone, not even himself that he is actually terrified of not being the best. His father raised him with the idea that members of his family were always the best and if they weren't the best, then they were worthless. His hatred of Valken Allen is more a fear than pure hatred, he's scared that Valken may turn out to be a much better dragon rider and thus his father would see him as worthless.[/SIZE]

HISTORY:Dillon was born in Stryklak to Isolde and Christian Ausim. He came from a family that was extremely wealthy and had a large amount of power. His father was a member of the Dragon Riders counsel. Growing up Dillon was spoilt rotten and get everything he wanted. As his parents only child, he grew up in a world where he was always the center of attention and everyone always did what he told them to do.
As he started growing up, his father hired a full team of tutors to ensure that his son was fully prepared for his training as a dragon rider. Dillon soon showed a huge amount of potential as a dragon rider as he had very powerful magic and he had a way with dragons that his tutors had never seen before. However, his tutors also picked up something else about the boy. He was extremely competitive, even with his own tutors. This worried his tutors as they were scared that he may one day put lives at risk just to sooth his own ego.
Dillon's father, however, didn't worry too much about his son's competitive streak. He just simply decided that it would help his son become the best. Dillon naturally ignored his tutors and once he turned eighteen he travelled with his father to Maldragua to join the dragon riders. He was assigned a elder and soon after joining he met Valken Allen. Dillon was threatened by the other boy, and was scared that the boy may become a better dragon rider than himself. Since then he has constantly worked at being the best dragon rider.[/SIZE]
