PERSONALITY What is more valuable than knowledge? Nothing. That is what Konstantine believes. She Most of her life she spends gathering knowledge, whether it be through buying new books, listening in on conversations or stealing. Konstantine has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that is both her strength and her weakness. It also means she’s very smart and especially tricking when it comes to word play and communication. She’s the calm cool type who can keep composed in just about any situation. Konstantine has some magic abilities. The only difficult piece of magic she can perform however is her ability to communicate with and sort of “go into” or “take over” her Owl.
She is quite loyal to Tharm, the King of Thieves. She serves as his main source of knowledge and information about everything that’s happening anywhere. Even if she doesn’t know what’s going on, she can usually find out pretty quickly. Konstantine is quite a valuable source of information for any of the thieves. She often gets all sorts of people coming to her for help. Of course, Konstantine will only help if that individual can pay the right price. Even the King of Thieves must give her a share of the profits. And don’t even consider trying to cheat her. She’ll know.[/SIZE]

HISTORY: Konstantine doesn’t remember her parents. Nobody knows much about them except that her mother was a poor woman that loved Konstantine very much. It is also known that her father was an elf, and that she may have some druid blood in her. The girl was orphaned at age three. A woman soon found the child on the streets and took her in. It was the thieves’ guild’s knowledge keeper. The old woman took care of the child and began to teach her. Konstantine soon discovered a thirst for knowledge. She was reading by the age of four.
Growing up, Konstantine often saw the King of Thieves who, at the time was Tharm’s father. Sometimes he even brought Tharm with him to the knowledge keeper’s house. Whenever he did, Konstantine would beg the older boy to play with her. She had no one else to play with after all.
At age eight, the girl began showing signs of magic. Unwilling to send the girl away, the former knowledge keeper Ilia taught Konstantine what she could from her vast knowledge. Konstantine was helped along by whatever books she could find in magic. Though the girl never grew especially talented in her magic abilities, she does have the power to control her magic and do at least small things with her magic.
At age nineteen, Konstantine mourned the death of her teacher, friend and guardian Ilia. The girl proudly took the woman’s place as knowledge keeper, promising herself she’d be a credit to her mentor. Konstantine is perhaps even more talented than the former knowledge keeper. Though she will always remember the woman, Konstantine has moved on and become quite famous to all the thieves and scoundrels as a source of information. Some still remember her as the girl that was always reading or asking to play.[/SIZE]
