Syrii was running up to the caves the rain came suddenly as she still a little ways away from the cave. She ran faster and got in before she was drenched down to the bone. She walked into the first cave she could have found. She felt like she had just jumped into a river with her clothes on and was not sure what to do as she found a warm corner and curled up.
She knew she would have to find some warmer clothes but right now she just wanted to try and find warmth from the rocks. She drew the warmth up from the depths of the cave around her. She didn't bring anything but the heat that was already there. She let it warm her from the back forward. She was making sure she didn't wind up sick from the cold and rain combined.
Syrii was tired and closed her eyes. She still had a while before she knew when her Quest began and couldn't wait to be a rider. She held her knees and started to fall asleep.

It seems we have a visitor
Alana woke up at Traz's interuption. The pair had been napping, Alana resting on the great dragon's back, laying along his spine. Now Traz had raised his head, eyes narrowed into the blackness of the cave. It was a long cave, stretching far back into the mountain, and mostly pitch black since Alana had put out the fire that Traz had started when they first arrived.
After a quick yawn, Alana drew Dúrthurin from its shieth and slid off the great dragon. I'll go see who's come, the woman said, almost lazily. Some might have been surprised at her lack of alarm at an intruder in an area such as this one. It could be a wild dragon, or a thief. Possibly even dragon hunters. But Alana had confidence in her abilities.
She walked silently along the cave floor, eyes narrowed in the search for a shadow that did not beling. It wasn't long untils he found exactly what she was looking for. It seemed to be a girl curled up and soaking wet. Alana raised her sword, holding it pointed directly at the girl.
"You wander where you are not welcome," she said, announcing herself to the girl's knowlege. Her eyes flickered to see that outside there was a down pour in progress. It explained why the girl had come into her cave at least. "Tell me girl, why are you out in these mountains? Don't you know the dangers of wandering alone here?" Alana let her sword drop to her side. "But you are no threat to me. What a pitty. This intruder has lost my interest so fast." Alana turned and began to walk away back toward where she had come from. She lifted her sword and set it up on her shoulder lazily so it would not drag on the ground.

Syrii looked up and saw Alana and was shocked. She took a deep breath and heard her ask about why she was out in the mountains, if she knew the dangers of wandering and then say she had lost intrest in her. Syrii didn't like this as she frowned and stood up. "I was just looking for some where to sit until i warmed up and the rain stopped, I am a Dragon Rider trainee," She said as she stood there and watched Alana walk off holding her blade on her shoulder. Walking quietly behind her she hurried back and said Wait, Do you have a warmer area i can rest until the rain stops?" She asked as she tried to keep up. She didn't know what to expect as she took a deep breath and prayed she didn't just exile her back to the rain. Syrii wasn't sure what to expect as the only dragon rider elder she had ever been with was the one who ran the trainee camp.

Alana scowled slightly, hearing the girl walking quietly behind her. She did not mind the girl being in her cave but she did not want her company. "If you are to be a dragon rider, then these mountains are even more of a danger to you," Alana commented, turning slowly to face the girl. "A trainee could not stand up to a dragon like the infamous Azkadee. You would be no match for a dragon hunter. How do you know I am not a dragon hunter? Alana arched her eyebrows.
Traz lurked in the dark, out of sight. His lips drew back to show his teeth in a silent snarl. This insolent child seemed to underestimate Alana. He smirked slight, letting his annoyance fade. He had no reason to worry. If the child proved a problem he could simply eat her.
Alana could sense Traz's thoughts. The child is not worth it, she told him silently. The woman examined the girl distastefully for a moment. This meant she would get no sleep. "Fine," Alana agreed. "You may come rest by my fire." Traz, light a fire, Alana ordered silently. The dragon did as told. When he lit the fire, the burst of flames lit the entire cave, revealing all the details, including the great black dragon himself. He stared at the humans silently a moment before resting his head and closing his eyes. Alana sat on the ground in front of the dragon and sat back against his great body lazily.

Syrii looked up and was not sure what to think as she was talked off about the mountains being dangerous. She sighed as she heard Alana said ".A trainee could not stand up to a dragon like the infamous Azkadee. You would be no match for a dragon hunter. How do you know I am not a dragon hunter?" Syrii sighed and said "I am not an idiot, i saw the signs of life and if you were a hunter you would have struck me down already," Syrii was grateful when the fire was lit. She didn't flinch when the dragon revealed himself. She was glad for the fire and came closer to the fire. She was not sure what to say. She didn't know what to expect now as she sat there and enjoyed the warmth of the fire and feeling her clothing drying as she sat there. "What's your name? if you don't mind my asking"she asked as she rested her head on her knees.

Alana shook her head. "That is what you may think child," she answered smartly. "But what use to me would you be stuck down. A dragon hunter looks to kill dragons or imprision them. For that, they nee at least some of the trainees alive." Alana drew a hand through her long hair, shaking it slightly as she did. "Besides, I could be just as dangerous." The woman may have been acting like a know it all, but right now, she didn't care. She was tired and slightly irritated after being woken.
Alana's eyes narrowed slightly at the girl's question, watching her warm herself by the fire. At first, she considered against answering. The girl did not need to know her name. But at the same time, Alana knew that if she stuck around, the girl was bound to find out anyway. "Alana," she finally answered shortly. "You said you are a trainee? How close are you to your quest?"
Traz's tail twitched slightly. Alana making casual conversation was quite the sight to see for him, as it did not happen to often. Though he supposed since there wasn't much going on at the moment, it made sense. What else was she supposed to do between jobs? I would rather like to stick around and see if Azkadee gets this one, he said into Alana's head, making a smile flicker across the woman's face.

Syrii looked at Alana and didn't know what to think as she sat there. "then why would you be so close to the training camp if you were not a dragon rider," She said as she relaxed by the fire. She knew that fighting with a dragon rider would not be the best thing. She took a deep breath as she ran a hand through her hair. She was tired but wasn't sure if she could sleep just yet.
She took a minute then said "Any tips you have to pass on possibly as i see your already bound to a dragon. She was ready to listen to anything she said as she took a minute to figure out if she would possibly find a way to get this rider as her mentor after she was bound to her dragon. She couldn't wait to see what it was like to be a young rider.
Looking into the fire she saw it dance before her eyes and felt more drowsy. She didn't know what to do as she felt warmer now. She was thankful for coming up upon the cave that held this rider. She didn't know when she would find herself doing the same for someone else like this that had happened to her, Finding a cave with an elder that she could talk to and find out more about the quest and such.

Alana picked up a tick near by and prodded the fire slightly. "Don't you think that this would be the perfect place for a dragon hunter?" Alana mused with a crooked smile. "Close to the dragons and the dragonr riders." No common sense, Traz thought to Alana with a slight snort. That made the woman laugh some. Just go to sleep, she told him lightly, thoughts alight with amusement. I'm tired of your pointless comments. Whatever, Traz answered.
Alana ran a hand through her hair, looking somewhat thoughtful. "Tips? Alana repeated. "Have the elders not taught you all you need to know?" Alana snorted when she finished the questions. "I don't know why I'm asking. Of course they haven't. Those old hags never teach the young ones anything. They just pump false hope into your vains." Alana looked up, meeting her eyes to the girl's for a moment.
"Tell me girl," Alana said after a pause. "What do you know of the quest itself? What do you know about the joining of a human and a dragon?" Alana tossed the stick she was holding into the flames, making sparks shower onto the ground around the edge of the fire pit. She shifted to get more comfortable on the stone ground. Leaning against Traz at least gave her more comfort than would have been possible if he was not here.

Why would a dragon hunter risk being found by the elders, and how would a hunter know about the elders teachings unless one wasn't a hunter and actually a rider?" she said throwing the questions back on her. She smirked as she listened to what Alana spoke and asked her if she knew anything of the quest.
Taking a breath she looked at alana and said "They keep hiding what ever it is that makes the quest our quest and not just asigning us to a dragon that is out here also it seems they want to hide it because aparently if we knew we wouldn't be here trying to kill ourselves to prove were ready, we would strive to be the best we can without worrying about the end result." she said as she looked down.
She didn't know what this would prove but she always knew something was up with the way the riders came back like they wanted to tell the trainee's something but it wasn't going to prove anything or accomplish what they wanted so they always fell inline with the elders.

Alana snorted slightly. "Of course a dragon hunter would risk being discovered by the elders. That's their job." Alana shook her head. "I'm sure its obvious I'm not a dragon hunter by now, but unless you have a deathwish you should be more careful around strangers. Especailly around here." It was true that around here strangers were more dangerous than many other places, though Alana questioned why she even bothered continuing the arguement. Why should the assassin care if this trainee put herself in danger.
"Typical," Alana muttered. "The elders refuse to let the trainees face the truth. If you're not strong enough to handle it by now then they've failed at their job." Alana shrugged matter-of-factly. Bondage with a dragon was a tough thing to go through, certainly, but if the trainees were any good they'd be able to handle hearing what it involved.
"Well, do you think you're strong enough to handle the truth?" Alana asked with a somewhat sly look in her eye. "Do you want to hear what the quest really is?" Alana would tell the girl. She had no reason to hide it. Unlike so many other riders, she wasn't an obedient lacky of the elders. Her elder had been one of the few to explain the quest to her when she'd been assigned to him, even thought he wasn't supposed to.
