Dream Send me a sign Turn back the clock Give me some time I need to break out And make a new name Let's open our eyes To the brand new day It's a brand new day WEARING THISThe day was really warm, and Valken was really tired, he didnt knew how he could walk so many miles, with out ride Thunder, it was truly a huge effort from him, but after all, he knew his guys would smell him and get around, they were smart, more smart than humans. Valken saw the river, so clean and so cold as winter, so he decided to take off his clothes and try and take a bath. He stayed long there, it was a beautiful day of summer, so the day would be probably longer than usual. Valken thoughts went back to his past, thing he didnt liked to remember, and the decisions he needed to make about his future, he just wanted some time to think more, and being covered by his middle name wouldnt take him anywhere but dead.
Suddenly his horse and wolf appeared in the other side of the river, both seemed happy to see Valken and he just smiled from ear to ear, it was awesome how this animals found him, they get lost in other town and now, they found him, it was really nice to count with that friends, after all they didnt wanted him dead, like the other people. "Hey guys!" he screamed very happy and took his clothes and threw them to the other side, where the wolf was, he swim to the other side too, and jumped out of the river, taking his clothes and starting to dress up again, he was clean now, he didnt knew if he could have the luck to find another person like the last time.
He ran to caress Steve's head and pat Thunder's neck, he loved those guys, and seemed like they didnt lost any time, they werent hungry, their stomach were full of food, while he was starving. "Dammit, im hungry guys" he whispered and looked trough Steve blue eyes, and thunder dark eyes, "Lets go eat something, i bet you too have space for more" valken said as he grinned and took his bow and arrows, with his knifes, and his beloved white sword. But it didnt last long when he suddenly heard steps.

Leading a horse Isoldé walked along the river. She smiled and petted her horse Jasmine. She was glad for the little freedom she had for a bit. She had told her advisors she was going on a ride to clear her mind and get an idea to help her people. She was walking along now wearing a simple leather jerkin and forest green shirt below it, she wore deep bark brown pants and deep brown knee high riding boots. She looked up and saw Valken. "Hello," She said as she paused to let her horse take a drink from the river. She didn't know what to do as she relaxed her hand reaching for her necklace. She toyed with her necklace as she worried about what she was doing. Her people needed her and here she was taking a break to visit some other city. She took a deep breath and tried to keep her feelings hidden. Running a hand through her hair she started to gather it up and tie it back. She took a moment to study Valken and his pets. She didn't know what to do think and decided to possibly make company and ride to a town. She didn't know what to say and waited for Valken to say something back. She was hoping that he wanted company.

Hello," Valken saw woman walking toward him, and his animals took a defense position, seemed like they smelled something he didnt, and of course he didnt had such sense his animals had, but he pulled a hand and stated them off of that. Valken saw this lady and he just didnt knew who she was, it was familiar, maybe he saw her, maybe a paint of her, but never, and he was truly sure, he had never crossed a word with that woman. She had an incredibly beauty, but far from that, as he stared at her, he could almost see the light around her, a huge peace invaded his body making him feel good, his animals went in peace too, both in the grasp, lying against each other. As for her voice, it was calm and like a bell, like music. She only said a hello. Her presence there was like snow white, that was the perfect description for her, also her skin was totally pale, with some pink blush, and her long straight and dark hair, her pink lips waited for an answer, and Valken could only stare at her, trying to decode her nature, she didnt seemed human, well yes, but he had the suspect that she might be a magician not to say witch, witches were evil most of the time, maybe she was an elf, but he couldnt see her ears, so he couldnt state it.
Valken ran a hand trough his hair, thank god i took a shower the last time he found a good friend, Alice, and a female dragon, and he was stinking as ever, he had been 1 week rolling in the forests, so he deserved a bath, and that river was the closest to heaven he could find. "Hello" he said very politely. He wanted to say more, but he knew that he may screw it, he wasnt good at all with girls, he was too shy and he wasnt the perfect company though, he liked to listen. "Are you lost?" was the only he could think that wouldnt screw it, but after saying that, he thought that she might get that like a goodbye from his part, so he nodded closing his eyes and hitting his forehead "im sorry, eh i meant that, if you, oh nothing" he barely said, he better shut before saying something more stupid.

Isoldé smiled as he said hello and then asked are you lost?. Isoldé shook her head as he then said "No not lost just traveling and giving my mount a workout," She said as she smiled. She was curious why he was so easily tripped up by his own words. She thought about it and then asked "would you mind if we sat i've been walking for a good bit since she needed a rest after her hard run," she smiled as she moved to sit.
She watched how he controlled his pets, she was glad they hadn't attacked her. She went ahead and sat down and let her horse relax. She smiled as she stretched some from her seated position and then sat there with her feet planted on the ground and wrapping her arms around her knees lightly. She motioned for him to join her.
"Where were you heading?" She asked as she pulled out her water skin and took a sip. She laid it to the side as she was planning on being here for a little while.

"No not lost just traveling and giving my mount a workout," Valken blinked a few times before just nod "Sure sure sure its obvious" he said glancing at his own feet's, and looking at her, then to the other side, he didnt wanted to just be there staring at her, like if he had never seen a woman before. She could think that he may be a pervert or something, so he just tried to keep a certain distance and look at her just once in a while, which was a torture, cuz he wanted to see her, he was sure he could recognize her from somewhere, but time would help him. "would you mind if we sat i've been walking for a good bit since she needed a rest after her hard run," her voice was still a bell, but now that he had heard more of her, he could even imagine a song, her singing, that would be pretty interesting, and pretty impossible, she was probably there just ... there, resting from a long journey, and she seemed to have important things to do, perhaps she was royalty, or not, maybe she was just a peasant. And him? well he was just trying to find where to belong. "Sure sure, no problem" again valken ran out of words and just closed his eyes and bit his bottom lip, he sighed and his thoughts were chasing him silly valken what are you thinking? could you say more than a 'sure'? your being lame ! say something smart, brilliant, impress her!, or at least just try to not screw it! Yes!! but what should i say? i .. i... i. well im nervous he tried to relax and as he opened his eyes he saw how she invited him to sit, and he slowly sat on the grasp, crossing his legs, he took a flower of the grasp and played with it, a red rose. "Where were you heading?" Valken looked at her, she questioned him and of all questions, she asked the one were he didnt had a answer. "Actually im not going anywhere in particular, Im just traveling, from here, to there, looking for some peace" he smiled at the end, a shy smile, and a gaze that clearly remind him memories. "Im sorry I didnt introduce myself, Im Valken Allen" he said as he grinned to her and offered his hand to stretch, but then he realized that he wasnt supposed to give his real name, he had the suspect that someone was hunting him, since he was the last of the Allen Bloodline, the next Dragon Rider, but the surprise was that he had quit to his own destiny.

Isoldé smiled as she looked at Valken and thought that he was kind of cute in the way he moved and talked. She smiled as she watched him sit down and ackwardly then closed his eyes. She smiled softly and wondered if she should hum. She decided that she would hum a little to hopefully calm the man before her some. She started to hum and smiled as she had picked a lullaby her mother use to sing for her to calm her down. "Im sorry I didnt introduce myself, Im Valken Allen" she heard him say she paused her song and smiled. "Pleasure, you can call me Isoldé Roza," she had a laughter in her eyes as she was glad her mother had given her two middle names. She could hide who she was easily and she was glad. She didn't want to find someone who acted innocent but was really looking for any royal to kidnap, she had her people to think about right now. She took a deep breath and said "Finding peace is always a hard thing it seems," She sighed as she smiled and watched Valken. She didn't know about his last name and him being the last of his line. She took a deep breath and watched the sky move as the day seemed to pass on by. She loved the serenity of the outdoors.

"Pleasure, you can call me Isoldé Roza," she said and he regretted interrupting her, she was humming a lullaby p[perhaps, but it was amazing, her voice, made him remain in such a deep calm, that he smiled, from ear to ear, if he needed to say something, he would just reserve it for later, that moment was so peaceful that, he was afraid to face the end of it. "Finding peace is always a hard thing it seems," she sighed, and Valken could perfectly recognize that, she was trying hard to find peace too, both souls almost eaten by the fire. but with that light around her, seemed that she had some kind of protection. Valken looked at her, in her eyes, a deep blue color like the one of Steve, his wolf, remain in Valken's gaze "Seem's like your trying to find it too" he said with a deep and calm voice, he looked at the river and then sighed with a smile, took a breathe and stared at her, and suddenly he could see her ears, and their were of an elf, so that was. She wasnt human at all, he knew it, and for some reason he liked that idea. Even if he could get hexed by her. "You're an Elf" he stated again at her, his voice in surprise and joy at the same time.

Isoldé smiled as he found out she was an elf, "yes, i am, I needed a little time away from my home and gave my mount a good run," She said as she smiled and said " I love it that you are so happy right now, you seem more light spirited when your happy and not thinking so deeply about troubling things, She smiled as she took another sip from her waterskin. "Maybe one day you will be able to visit my homelands," She said soft enough that if a breeze came the words would be lost. She took a deep breath and bit her lip slightly. "Maybe if you don't mind being blindfolded I can take you to my home when I go back if you want to," She said as she knew it would be good for him to see and feel the serenity of her homelands. She knew her advisors would have a fit when she returned if she came back with him but she wouldn't let someone lose themselves in the search for serenity. She took a deep breath and smiled she would be going back in a a day or so.

"yes, i am, I needed a little time away from my home and gave my mount a good run, I love it that you are so happy right now, you seem more light spirited when your happy and not thinking so deeply about troubling things" as valken heard such things, a slight blush came to his cheeks, making him smile in a shy way, he wasnt used to have those conversations with woman's. He could almost remember the last time he listened to his sister say that she loved him, feeling her hand run into his hair, making a mess of it, she was sweet and kind, shame she was consumed by the fire, almost a month ago. It was a wound that would take some time to heal, and for an unknown reason Isoldè gave him for a moment the peace he was looking in his soul, for so many time. He was just falling into the moment, it was something he was looking to feel before, that peace inside of him, in his mind. He had a long journey, he gave up on his destiny, he was designed to be a dragon rider, like all the men's in his family, and he was the last of his family, the long bloodline of centuries, the famous Allen Riders, and there he was with out a hope of becoming that fierce dragon rider everyone expected him to turn in. He had no one to make proud of him, since his father died he wanted more to become a dragon rider, but with the death of his mother and sister, well, he had no one to surprise, so excite, to feel proud of him. No one.
"Well, thanks. Your inspiring me somehow" he said very respectful, if he was something was respectful, noble, and polite. With a touch of humor of course. He liked to smile, but he wasnt doing it great lately, but with Isoldè was so easy to feel like a ... bird. So free, so light, the air crossing his hair. He was in a moment he would like to make it eternal. So many friendships dying in combat, so many girls crushing on him when they were like 13 years old, everything happened so fast, that he didnt had the time to stop and say what he felt in that moment, a proper: 'I love you', but he never thought it would be necessary. He regretted not saying it in time. "Troubles are my specialty" he giggled at the saying of that, he was a proper example of how to make your life a drama including fighting with a tree, it was definitely a thing he wouldnt talk about, never. Only a few people saw him fighting with a tree, and their were dead for random reasons, so he might shut before saying an idiot thing.. as always.
"Maybe one day you will be able to visit my homelands," Valken smiled as he leaned in the grasp, he was looking at the sky and he crossed his arms below his neck, his hair fell to the grasp, long straight and brown, a few brown highlights reflected the sun on his hair, a half smile, imagining how could it be to cross into the elf city. He had never been there before, it would be pretty interesting and pretty much impossible though. "Maybe if you don't mind being blindfolded I can take you to my home when I go back if you want to," Valken looked at her, and narrowed his eyes within his half smile, that grew even more, a small giggle came as he leaned in his left elbow in the grasp "Are you serious? Its almost impossible! This peace will turn into a huge adventure if i say yes, and it could end into a trouble" he said with a playfully voice, his eyes still in hers. The Elf queen would probably kick his ass out of the elf city.

Isoldé smiled as she heard him say "Are you serious? Its almost impossible! This peace will turn into a huge adventure if i say yes, and it could end into a trouble" She laughed let go of her knees and held her stomach as she laughed a light but hardy laugh. She wiped her eyes and said "well we have to keep the way there secret, so visitors are rare and far between if they are there at all," She knew her advisors would have a fit when she came back but she didn't care as long as someone finally enjoyed her homelands. Isoldé took a moment to breath, she smiled and relaxed laying on her side and watching Valken. "So Valken What brought you this way besides the ambling road?" She asked as she took a deep breath and relaxed propping her head up as she laid on her side. She smiled as she watched and wondered if the wolf was harmless or if he was really wanted to hurt her to keep his master safe. Isoldé wondered what his life had been like up until now and if he shared she would share as well. She took a deep breath and wondered if she would know what to say if something unfortunate came up. She was happy right now not having to be the queen or keep up appearances with him. She didn't want to have to be a queen all the time, she wanted to let her walls down and only have to protect her peoples location once in a while.

"So Valken What brought you this way besides the ambling road?" his smile vanished and then he leaned back in the grasp, his hands by his sides, he let out a small sigh and looked at the sky, he wondered what star could his mother be. "I dont have a happy story" he said with nostalgic voice, feeling that little pain in his heart, like a small torture that becomes bigger and bigger, eating what he has of life. He was a man of few words, few feelings, until you get to know him or when you finally have his trust. He used to live in a bubble of love, so it hurt him the most when they ripped his family away from him, very away.
He was sure someday he will see them again. perhaps, if he gets to heaven someday, he wasnt sure what kind of life he will take, but he was sure that what ever he chooses to be, he would make his parents and sister proud, he would not take an innocent soul. Like all, he dreamed of having kids, he just loved them. He once was at tavern with friends, and some knights came to invade them, and he just stared there, with out move, he couldnt, a knight had his sword on his neck, and he wasnt armed. His friends died in combat, in front of him, and he cried of courage, he took the sword edge with his hand, making it blood, the knight punched him in the face and he fell to the floor, and they laughed of him, it was a sad moment to stand up, but it was the moment to reveal the man he was becoming, to stand and fight, until there is no life. With sacrifice he tried to lean in the wood wall, his hand bleeding as hell and his gaze blurred, the knight came again to hit him, with the sword in the head, and he fell again, he wasnt a good fighter in that time, he was just anxious to become a dragon rider and come back to kick their asses, but it didnt took long, a scream made him open his tired eyes, they were trying to kill a kid, they were torturing him, to know where his father was, the kid clearly didnt knew, his eyes reflected fear, and hope somehow.
Valken impulsed himself with both hands, and stood up, he forgot that blood usually makes him vomit, a crush on his teeth's sound, as he walked to the knights and unsheathed the sword of one and threat them. The 2 knights laughed and walked to kill him, he fought with one, making a cut in his arm, while the knight made a cut in his leg, Valken knocked him, making him fall into the ground, and he ran to the other knight and with the sword he buried it in his chest until he was nailed to the wooden wall. Then he let the sword there, he wasnt sure if he killed him and he wasnt going to check it, but he took the boy in his arms and ran away. The kid hugged him with such a force, that was the hope Valken saw in that kid's eyes. In that moment he knew that he would fight for the justice, the freedom, the good people, and over all, he would fight for always do the good to others. No matter what no matter who. Valken looked at his hand and saw the big scar of that day, it was a memory of who he was.
"I dont have anyone, my friends died, my father was killed in combat, my mother and my sister were consumed by the fire, it was somehow my fault, i wasnt there, and for more that i ran, i could get them out, but they were already dead. Sometimes i think it wasnt an accident, someone wanted them dead. Im not a good company, they are probably looking for me, the last one." he said serious and in a deepest sadness. He closed his eyes and then opened them again. He glanced at Isoldè, to look at her reaction. He didnt knew what was on her mind. "What are you thinking?"

Isoldé felt bad when he talked about his past. She felt bad at how his past had been. She heard how his family had all died one in the line of duty and the others in a fire of his home. She felt tears come to her eyes. "Im so sorry, I shouldn't pry, i know how it is to lose family my father died of an ancient disease and my mother of a broken heart. Ive been on my own for so long now and there is so much pressure that i have to deal with on a daily basis."Isoldé took a minute to think about it and said "I will take you to my home when were ready to leave," She smiled softly as she thought about what he had gone through. She didn't like that he had so much trauma so early in life. "Maybe it will do you good," She said as she let her fingers play with some grass. She wondered if he had anything he wanted to ask her. "Anything you want to know about me?" she asked as she looked up at him. As she laid there she felt her horse lay on its side she smiled glad she could rest. She wasn't ready to part ways at all with Valken, She wanted to know more if he was willing to share. She wanted to know how he thought and possibly find her partner or at least a good friend if not more.

"Im so sorry, I shouldn't cry, i know how it is to lose family my father died of an ancient disease and my mother of a broken heart. Ive been on my own for so long now and there is so much pressure that i have to deal with on a daily basis." Valken laid his head on his arms, that now were crossed below his head, like at first. He heard her, she was crying, and she was apologizing for it, how noble and gentle of her part, she was a very sensitive person. "Dont apologize for crying, that's not a crime, you havent killed someone" he said softly as he gently took her hand with his, a small touch of relief and trying to somehow accompany her sorrow, both with out happy family endings. Her mother died of a broken heart. He wondered how he wasnt dead already.
"Seems like your a very sensitive person, Iz, may I call you like that?" he said softly, it was her new nickname, it was shorter and lovely for her. "I will take you to my home when were ready to leave," Valken sighed and glanced at the stars, it was almost seven o'clock, and it was a winter night and the darkest hour was just beginning. "Someone will hex me there" he said playfully as he stared at the stars, shinning so bright. A winter breeze ran making his hair all messy, and giving him the scent of her hair, it was wonderful, like a magic person, she smelled like roses, with strawberries, something sweet, but also Innocent and passionate. How could something be so pure, divine, like the heaven, but could be so exciting and passionate as the hell. That was her mysterious scent.
"Maybe it will do you good," Valken looked at her, he stared there for more than 20 seconds, looking firmly into her eyes, a deep and intense green on his, like talking with looks. "To be hexed? I dont think so" he said with a small laugh. "Anything you want to know about me?" Valken glanced at the stars, then at her again, with another kind of look, this time a curious one. Valken approached to her, so close that he whispered in her ear, a soft and warm, but curious and seductive voice came to him as he spoke clearly and firmly to her "When did you hexed me? ..." the warm breathe of him crossed her neck, as he smelled again discretely and more close her hair. "Because I cant take my eyes off of you" he said.

Isoldé shook her head as he kept talking about getting hexed. She knew her people wouldn't do that, though many would swear they did by how the race of men were effected by their appearance. She waited but when he drew close and whispered to her and she felt his breath on her neck she blushed. She heard him ask when did she hex him because he couldn't take his eyes off of her. She didn't know what to say but tried. "I....I didn't hex you, i promise you that," she said as she blushed and bit her lip softly, nervously. She didn't know what to expect as she sat there feeling like she had done something wrong. She wanted to figure out what she had done wrong or needed to do to put him at ease.

After saying that Valken didnt know how to react anymore, he wasnt like that, but that was more like an impulse from his inside. Te seductive man he had inside, but like in a change of personality, he went back to his posture and leaned his head in the grasp. Feeling terribly for her expression, he just decided that silence would probably be the best for both. Valken saw that it was getting late, and the whispers of the night were surrounding them. Probably the creatures of the night were watching them. Fireflies flied around the river, making a new sun somehow. But his mind was full of silent in that moment, like the conversation.
"I....I didn't hex you, i promise you that,"
Valken wanted to glance at her, and he did it quick, and he saw a light blush on her pale and luminous cheeks, it was a hot pink color, she was probably uncomfortable there, and he was complicating it more. He nodded. "Its fine If you did. Is the best emotion I had since a while ago." He wanted to smile but he couldnt, even if the words he was saying, were more like a confession, perhaps of love, who knows? It was definitely too fast to feel something like that, or perhaps he needed love, the love that was taken away from him, a few months ago.
He stood up with slow movements and then he glanced at the surrounds, it was darker, his horse thunder was already asleep while Steve, his wolf, was about to fall too. But suddenly Valken heard something, his gaze went to tree to tree, bursh to bursh, and he saw one moving. "Who's there?" he screamed looking firmly into the bursh, he stopped Iz from stood up too, he wasnt looking at her, but he may be aware of her movements too. The last thing he saw was an arrow direct into his shoulder. The sound of the arrow flying trough the shrubbery made him alert, but it was too fast to avoid it. A silent scream came to his mouth, as he touched his shoulder in pain.
OOC: i just thought it would add some drama and emotion
